MHS JVs down Dukes in finale

The Middlesex High School junior varsity basketball team finished off its season on Monday. February 5, with a 44-38 win over Windsor.

Camren Hammond paced the Chargers on offense with 10 points and Cassidy Ward contributed 8 points. Matthew Hart, Jakim Lomax, and Bryan Diggs had 5 points each.

Davion Washington and Shawn Jackson scored 3 points each, Wyatt Brown and Michael Barney 2 points each, and Legend Watson contributed 1 point.

“It has been a good season and I feel the boys have learned, improved and come a long way from the start of the season,” said MHS head coach Lamar Gresham. 

The Chargers finished the season with a 8-9 overall record and a 6-3 Tidewater District record.
