MHS alumni games are Saturday
The Middlesex High School Alumni Basketball Games will be held Saturday, March 20, in the John S. Clements Memorial Gym in Saluda.
The women’s game will be at 5 p.m., the men’s ages 35 and over game at 6:30 p.m., and the men’s ages 34 and under game at 8 p.m.
Contact Janel Young at 854-5166 or 758-5643, or LaMar Gresham at 445-5865 to sign up to play. The men’s under 35 game roster is full. Women players and men over 34 players are still needed.
The price of admission will be $2. Game proceeds benefit the Middlesex Youth Basketball League.
Open gym for alumni game players to practice will be Thursday, March 18, from 7-9 p.m. in the Tom Carter Memorial Gymnasium (old St. Clare Walker School gymnasium).
Alumni players must have played varsity basketball for Middlesex High School.
All players should bring a white T-shirt and a blue T-shirt.
