Hunter Collier of Wake is starting a program called “All Play Ball” to benefit the Middlesex County Little League.

As a Christchurch senior, Collier is required to choose a project to impact a community in some way. He chose Little League because of his love for baseball.

“Baseball has really impacted my life,” he said.

The goal of All Play Ball is to help all Little League participants with the cost of registering.

Collier will be holding a 50/50 raffle with a goal of $2,000. “I won’t stop if I get to $2,000. I would love to get more,” he said.

He will also be approaching local businesses for potential prizes and events for the cause.

If someone wants to contribute and cannot donate monetarily, any baseball equipment, cleats, pants, bats, and bags in good condition are also needed, he said.

To contribute, contact Collier at or 804-238-1193.

All donations should be made payable to All Play Ball.
