The Middlesex Shooting Sports Club (MSSC) in Hartfield dedicated a new building to the memory of past MSSC president Richard Selph. The new building was recently completed by MSSC Club members and will be used as a firearms cleaning facility.

Richard Selph was president of the club from 2014 until his death in 2016. “Mr. Selph was a great positive influence on the club and always insisted that the highest standards were maintained for safety, education, and building and grounds maintenance,” said a club spokesperson. “The firearms cleaning facility was a dream of Richard Selph and the club raised funds in his honor to complete the construction.”

Mr. Selph passed away last year from complications with his battle with cancer.

The building dedication was made at the club’s monthly dinner meeting on April 3.
