Little League All-Star Results

The Little League District 15 All-Star Tournaments got under way on Friday, June 22, and continues through next week.

Major League Boys
The Major League Baseball District Tournament (ages 11-12) is being played at Mathews. Middlesex plays King William on Friday, June 29, at 6 p.m. The winner plays King George on Saturday, June 30, at 4 p.m. The loser plays on Sunday, July 1, at 6 p.m. in the double-elimination event.

The championship game is set for Sunday, July 8. at 4 p.m.

Junior League Boys
The Middlesex Junior League Baseball All-Stars (ages 13-14) are set to play Essex on Friday, June 29, at 6 p.m. in Caroline County. The winner plays the Caroline B team on Saturday, June 30, at 4 p.m. The loser plays on Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m.

The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m. on the Richmond County Little League field.

Senior League Boys
The Middlesex Senior League Baseball All-Stars (ages 15-16) drew a bye and will play the winner of the Lancaster-Essex game on Sunday, July 1, at 5 p.m. at Rappahannock High School. The winner plays on Tuesday, July 3, at 5:30 p.m. The loser plays on Monday, July 2, at 5:30 p.m.

The championship game is set for Friday, July 6, at 7 p.m.

Minor League Boys
The Middlesex Minor League Baseball All-Stars (ages 9-10) have been eliminated. They lost 8-2 to Essex on Sunday, and 16-8 to Westmoreland on Monday.

Minor League Girls
The Middlesex Minor League Softball All-Stars (ages 9-10) lost 31-22 to King George on June 23 at the Middlesex Sports Complex. Middlesex stayed alive in the losers’ bracket by defeating Lancaster 15-8 on Sunday, and defeating Caroline 16-9 on Monday. On Tuesday, Middlesex lost 10-4 to Northumberland and was eliminated.

The championship game is set for Friday, June 29, at 7 p.m. at the Midlesex Sports Complex.

Junior League Girls
The Middlesex Junior League Softball All-Stars (ages 13-14) will play Richmond County on Sunday, July 1, at 6 p.m. at the Richmond County Little League field. The winner will meet Mathews on Monday, July 2, at 8 p.m. The loser plays on Tuesday, July 3, at 8 p.m.

The championship is set for Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m.

Senior League Girls
The Middlesex Senior League Softball All-Stars (ages 15-16) will play Lancaster on Sunday, July 1, at 6 p.m. at King George High School. The winner plays on Monday, July 2, at 7 p.m. The loser plays on Tuesday, July 3, at 7 p.m.

The championship game is set for Thursday, July 5, at 6 p.m.

Middlesex did not field a Major League Softball All-Star team.
