Lawson, Lemon and Ellis win events for Middlesex

The Middlesex High School boys track team finished third in a quad-meet on April 17. Northumberland won the meet with 82 points; Lancaster, second, 63; Middlesex, third, 52; and Mathews, fourth, 31.

For the Chargers, Barron Lawson won the discus (110’); Robert Lemon won the triple jump (37’5.5”); and Ridge Ellis won the 1600 meters (4:56).

The Chargers 4x100 meter relay team (47.48) finished third with Robert Drewery, Holmes, Gills and D’Angelo King running legs.

The Chargers were second in the 4x400 meter relay (3:50) as Tarik Auden, Josephe Nordan, Ellis and Green ran legs.

On Wednesday, May 1, the Chargers will compete at West Point against the Pointers and King and Queen.
