Lady Chargers visit Pointers tonight

Tonight, February 17, in the semifinals of the Tidewater District Tournament, the Middlesex High girls basketball team will play at top-seeded West Point, and Mathews will host King William.

The girls and boys tournament championship games will be at King William High School on Saturday, February 20. The girls play at 6 p.m., and the boys at 8 p.m.

The West Point girls basketball team capped an undefeated Tidewater District season on Monday with a 48-39 home win over Middlesex.

The Lady Chargers defeated King and Queen 48-14 last Friday during Senior Night.

Middlesex (3-5, 9-9) finished the regular season in fourth place in the final district standings.

West Point finished first, Mathews was second and King William third.
