The 2018-19 version of the Middlesex High School Lady Chargers varsity basketball team is filled with eight returning players, who have some big shoes to fill.

“We must find a way to fill the void left by graduating senior Emilie Smith, who was the driving force and the team leader last season,” said MHS coach Neil Wake. “I believe in this new bunch. They are all enthusiastic and very supporting of each other. We are ready to take this journey and have clear goals in mind.”

The Lady Chargers will open their season at Northumberland on Tuesday, November 27; will visit Lancaster on Thursday, November 29; and will host Essex on Monday, December 3. JV games begin at 5:30 p.m. and varsity games follow at 7 p.m.
