The Middlesex JV Lady Charger basketball team recently closed out its regular district season with three losses.

Middlesex fell 45-22 to King William on January 16. JV Lady Chargers’ scoring was led by Aniyah Thompson with 10 points, Allison Blake 5 points, Ruth Anne Key 4 points, Stacy Luckett 2 points, and Makayla Oliver 1 point.

On January 23 the JV Lady Chargers had a slow start against King and Queen. MHS did not score in the first quarter and trailed 7-6 at the half and lost 21-17. “We played well in the second half, but just could not get over the hump,” said Middlesex coach Roy Self.
