The Middlesex High JV volleyball team earned two more wins last week to improve its record to 3-2.
On September 3, the JV Lady Chargers won the first and third games at Lancaster 25-19 and 15-4, and lost the second game 25-17.
On September 5, the JV Lady Chargers defeated visiting Washington & Lee 25-15, 25-22. “The girls definitely play with a lot more intensity during home matches,” said JV Lady Charger coach Jessica Morris. “They need to carry this intensity with them when we travel and they will continue to become a stronger team.”
Good, consistent serving helped the JV Lady Chargers.
The Lady Chargers also defeated Northumberland on September 10.
They will travel to Colonial Beach on Thursday, September 12. On Tuesday, September 17, they will host Lancaster.
JV games are at 6 p.m. and are followed by varsity games at 7:30 p.m.
