Devils down MHS JVs

The Middlesex High School (MHS) junior varsity boys basketball team lost its regular season opener 52-30 to the junior varsity Lancaster Red Devils on Thursday, November 29.

Lancaster outscored Middle-sex in every quarter as the Red Devils were paced by Sean Thomas who scored 18 points. The Red Devils put the game away with 21 points in the third quarter. 

The Chargers were paced by Geion Reed, Camren Hammond and Malachi Dandy. Reed was high scorer for MHS with 6 points and C. Hammond and Dandy contributed 5 points each.

Other Chargers to score were Phillip Hart, 4 points; Talon Cheatham and Michael Hammond, 3 points each; and Austin Hall, 2 points.

Middlesex will host King William on Friday, December 7; will travel to Carver on Tuesday, December 11; and will visit Lancaster on Wednesday, December 12. JV games begin at 5:30 p.m. and varsity games follow at 7 p.m.
