The Deltaville Deltas extended their winning streak to 4 games last week, winning both of their league matchups with a 12-4 road victory over the Richmond Orioles and a 13-0 rout of the Richmond Tigers at home on Saturday night.

With the wins, Deltaville improved to 9-1 on the season, and remains just ahead of Richmond Team Woody (9-2) in Richmond NABA league standings.

The Deltas go on the road Friday, July 13, to Tappahannock, where they will face off against the Tappahannock Tides (4-5) in a 7:30 p.m. game at Essex High School.

On Saturday, July 14, the Deltas will host one of the top teams from the Hampton Roads NABA league, the Chesapeake Sharks (14-4). It will be C&F Bank Night at Deltaville Ballpark, with the first 100 paying fans receiving a free hot dog, along with several other prize drawings throughout the night. First pitch is 7:30 p.m.
