Coach Smith, Morris earn top lacrosse honors

For the third year in a row, Christchurch School head lacrosse coach Vince Smith has been named Virginia Prep League Coach-of-the-Year. This year, he shares the honor with St. Christopher’s coach John Burke of Richmond.
Seahorse midfielder Duncan Morris, son of Kathy and Matt Morris of Charlottesville, was named 2013 Prep League Player-of-the-Year. Morris, who also earned All-Prep honors at midfield, will play lacrosse at Hampden-Sydney College next year.
Other Seahorses earning All-Prep honors are Pat Ingram of Charlottesville at face-off, Davis Horbal of Virginia Beach at defense, and Reid White of Crozet at attack.
