A young and inexperienced Charger team will take the court when Middlesex High School entertains Lancaster tonight, Thursday, November 29, in its 2018-19 boys basketball season opener in the John S. Clements Memorial Gym at MHS in Saluda. The JV game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game follows at 7 p.m.

Jon Hatch returns to coach the Chargers this year after a one-year absence. “We are very inexperienced as far as varsity participation and we are really going to have to take care of the basketball to be competitive. If we don’t we will be in trouble,” said Coach Hatch.

After Lancaster, the Chargers’ next game will be at home on December 7 against King William.
