Regular season champs also claim tournament titles
imageThere were no “bracket busters.” The top seeds came out on top. The Middlesex Youth Basketball League’s three divisions each had undefeated regular season champions, and those same teams won last Saturday’s tournament titles in the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasiun at Middlesex High School.

Charger trackmen win nine events at quad-meet
The Middlesex High School girls and boys track teams faced off against King William, Rappahannock, and Lancaster last week in a quad-meet at King William. Boys individual standouts were Greg Robinson, Ridge Ellis and Kaleb Wake.


Middlesex Little League tryouts set for Saturday
Tryouts for Middlesex County Little League will be held this Saturday, April 5, at the Middlesex Sports Complex in Locust Hill at the following times… Also, the Middlesex Little League Spring Training event was rained out last Saturday. It has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 6, from 1:30-5 p.m. at the Middlesex Sports Complex in Locust Hill.


Payne wins the shot put
The Middlesex High School (MHS) girls track team was paced by Brittin Payne in a quad-meet last Thursday at King William High School against the Lady Cavaliers, Rappahannock and Lancaster.
