MHS girls win 15-14 thriller
The Middlesex Lady Chargers prevailed 15-14 in an action-packed, lead-changing battle with West Point on April 10 for a Conference 42 win. Middlesex took advantage of 7 walks and 5 hit batters in the see-saw game at the Middlesex Sports Complex in Locust Hill.

Davenport rules at Virginia Motor Speedway
imageFor driver Jonathan Davenport of Georgia, and car owners Kevin and Leroy Rumley of Greensboro, N.C., the Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth at Virginia Motor Speedway was a highly coveted victory.


YMCA’s ages 12-15 team places 2nd in tournament
imageThe Middlesex YMCA hosted a 12-15 year old double-elimination tournament on Saturday, April 12. Teams from Mathews County, New Kent County, West Point and the Northern Neck joined Middlesex and coach Neal Barber in the tournament.


MHS to host West Point Thursday in Deltaville
imageThe Middlesex High varsity baseball team will host West Point at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Deltaville Ballpark. It will be the Chargers’ final game before spring break.
