Charger golfers capture conference tournament
imageThe Middlesex Chargers “turned it on” at the Conference 42 golf tournament hosted by Middlesex High School at Piankatank River Golf Club (PRGC) in Hartfield last Thursday. MHS won the event by 59 strokes with a final 18-hole score of 366.

Seahorses battle inexperience
Christchurch School’s football team is battling through a rebuilding year. The last three weeks have seen the Seahorses face three teams that sit atop their divisions. The Seahorse football team is idle this week.


Chargers blank Indians 40-0

Golf: A Hall family tradition
imageIsabella Hall “Bella” Silvus, a 15-year-old sophomore at Mathews High School, is keeping the family golfing tradition going. The Hall family has played golf for more than 60 years, and 15-year-old Bella is the only female varsity player on the Blue Devils golf team, as well as the only female golfer competing regionally.
