Five MHS students sign to play sports in college
imageFive Middlesex High School students have committed to play sports at colleges around the state. The school held a gathering to honor the student-athletes on Friday in the school auditorium.

MHS girls host Pointers on Monday
The Middlesex varsity girls soccer team is 9-2-1 after battling Northumberland to a 2-2 tie on May 4, and defeating Essex 9-1 on May 7. “Northumberland is a quality team,” said Middlesex coach Eric Smith. “We knew this would be an important game for our standings this year.”


Lady Chargers seek district track title Thursday
imageThe Middlesex High School (MHS) girls track team won a quad-meet at MHS on Thursday, May 3, by scoring 108 points. The Lady Chargers were paced by senior Tiarah Hayes who broke the school’s triple jump record with a leap of 32’6.5”.


MHS boys improve to 8-4-1
The Middlesex varsity boys soccer team is 8-4-1 after dominating Mathews 6-2 on May 7, and losing to King William 4-2 last week. At Mathews, Charger scoring came via Aaron Akers and Derron Cooke with 2 goals apiece, Jack Ruark on a penalty kick, and a George Shaw goal.
