United wins YMCA youth soccer tournament
imageIn the first tournament, Saturday April 25, hosted a total of 12 teams from Middlesex, Mathews, Northern Neck, Westmoreland, West Point and Northumberland. Of the 12 teams, Middlesex had 4 of them and turned out to be the dominate teams in the tournament.

Rally for a Cure event raises $1,500
Kelly Lowe won the closest to the pin prize, a Cleveland hybrid #3, on hole 17. Kevin Ashberry won the "Rally Basket." Tournament coordinator Karin Gorin thanked all who participated and donated.


Chargers down West Point
imageMiddlesex remained in a tie for first place in the Tidewater District Tuesday with a 9-5 varsity baseball win at West Point. Middlesex is 4-1 in the Tidewater District and 6-3 overall. “If we go undefeated the rest of the way, we can pull it (district title) out,” said MHS coach Timmy Blake.


MHS tennis star Jessica Anderson still unbeaten
imageThe Middlesex High girls tennis team dominated arch-rival Mathews 6-3 in a match that started on April 22 and finished on April 23 due to rain. Middlesex’s number one player, Jessica Anderson, continued her quest for an undefeated season as she won 6-2, 6-4.
