MHS spring sports are in full swing
Middlesex High School (MHS) spring sports teams are busy this week. The Charger and Lady Charger track teams will have its first home meets of the season today, March 14. MHS will host a tri-meet against King William, Lancaster and Rappahannock high schools. The meet starts at 4:30 p.m.


Little League tryouts set for March 23
Tryouts for Middlesex County Little League tryouts will be on Saturday, March 23, at the Middlesex Sports Complex at Locust Hill. The tryout schedule is as follows: Junior/Senior Baseball (13-16 years old), 11 a.m.; Machine Pitch (7-8 years old), 1 p.m.; Minor League Baseball (9-10 years old), 2:30 p.m.; Major League Baseball (11-12 years old), 4 p.m.


Croquet Club offering classes and league play
The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club (CBCC) in Hartfield is sponsoring an early spring croquet league for beginner and intermediate level players. The league will start on Saturday, April 6, at 1 p.m. with lessons and games to follow and will continue each Saturday in April.
