‘Just an honor to be part of it’
Josh Speight of Locust Hill will play the biggest golf matches in his career on September 15-17. He will be on the 10-man professional golf team that will represent the United States at the 28th Professional Golf Association (PGA) Cup competition at Foxhills Club and Resort in Ottershaw, Surrey, England, against Great Britain and Ireland.

Chargers return several All-District players
imageThe Middlesex High School varsity football team opens its regular season at 7 p.m. Friday, August 25, on the road against Washington and Lee Eagles in Montross. The Chargers have five returning seniors who earned All-Tidewater District recognition last year.


Lady Chargers show promise; visit powerful Northumberland tonight
The Middlesex Lady Chargers varsity volleyball team defeated visiting Rappahannock in four games in its season opener on Tuesday at MHS. Middlesex won the first game 25-15, lost the second game 20-25, and won the next two games 25-14 and 25-6.
