MHS golfers win district; 3rd in region
In what Coach Greg Harrow described as “extremely abnormal conditions,” the Chargers “held their own” and were able to qualify two golfers, Alexander Crittenden and Harley Moore, to compete for individual honors in the State Group A Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, October 11-12, at Piankatank River Golf Club (PRGC) in Hartfield.

Raiders blank MHS 20-0
imageDespite losing 20-0 to Rappahannock Saturday afternoon at MHS, the Middlesex High varsity football team played one of its better games of the season. The score was 13-0 for most of the game.


Seahorses rout Charles City 36-14
imageChristchurch downed a talented Charles City football team 36-14 on the road Friday night to improve to 4-1 record on the season. Quarterback Taylor Byrd completed 12 of 14 passes for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns to lead the Seahorses.


MHS girls are 11-0; at Mathews Tuesday
The Middlesex varsity volleyball team notched two Tidewater District wins this week against West Point and King William. Middlesex swept visiting West Point 25-20, 25-14 and 25-10.
