The future is now for MHS girls
imageCoach Jennifer Harrow is very excited about this year’s Middlesex High School varsity volleyball team—and for good reason. Six of the Lady Chargers have worked with Harrow since they were in the 8th grade. Four of them, who are now seniors, were among the JV squad that had 18 girls.

JV Chargers have 14 returning players
imageThe Middlesex High School junior varsity football team will kick off its first game of the season Wednesday, September 1, at home against Tidewater District foe Mathews at 6:30 p.m. The JV Chargers have 14 returning players from last year’s team that posted a 2-7 overall record and 2-2 district mark.


Youth soccer signup continues at the YMCA
The fall soccer program is about to start at the Middlesex YMCA and registrations are filling up. This season the YMCA is expecting over 200 youth in the program, so please come by the YMCA and sign up today.


Molly Banfield: Gifted rider
imageMolly Banfield of Wake spent the summer far away from her home base of Fountain Greene Farm. She competed with her horses in some of the largest shows on the East Coast, including Lake Placid and HITS on the Hudson.
