Undefeated Lady Chargers host Lancaster Tuesday
imageThe Middlesex varsity volleyball team is off to a 3-0 start to the season with wins against Rappahannock, W&L and Essex in non-district action. The Middlesex varsity and JV volleyball teams will host Lancaster on Tuesday, September 7, and are at W&L on Thursday, September 9. JV games are a 6 p.m. and the varsity plays at 7:30 p.m.

Middlesex JV volleyball off to good start
imageThe Middlesex High JV volleyball team’s 3-0 start has coach Laura Norris optimistic about the new season. “I was thrilled to have the opportunity to accept the JV Volleyball coaching position,” she said. “This season, I hope these girls learn how to compete well, do their best, improve on their volleyball skills, and strive to win… but most of all, have fun.”


YMCA training program for Richmond road race
The training program will begin Saturday, September 18, and continue each Saturday for the following eight weeks until the November 13 race day. All fitness levels—walkers, joggers and runners—are welcome to participate.


The future is now for MHS girls
imageCoach Jennifer Harrow is very excited about this year’s Middlesex High School varsity volleyball team—and for good reason. Six of the Lady Chargers have worked with Harrow since they were in the 8th grade. Four of them, who are now seniors, were among the JV squad that had 18 girls.
