MHS netters down Windsor, Raiders
imageThe Middlesex High School girls tennis team defeated Windsor 7-2 on April 7 and edged Rappahannock 5-4 on April 9. "We pretty much dominated the match against Windsor," said MHS coach Pete Shepherd. "All the ladies played exceptionally well."

MHS girls capture 2nd place
imageThe Middlesex High School girls track team captured second place Saturday in the 11th annual West Point High School Invitational Track meet with 73 points. MHS battled West Point and King William on April 8, and will run in the King William Invitational on April 18.


JV Chargers blank Drifters
imageShane Bristow pitched a 3-hitter and struck out 17 to lead the Middlesex High JVs to a 6-0 Tidewater District win over Colonial Beach Tuesday. With the win, the JV Chargers improved to 5-1 on the season. Bristow also had 2 singles, 2 runs and an RBI.


Chargers rebound to down Colonial Beach
imageIt was breezy at the boardwalk in Colonial Beach Tuesday evening. Middlesex senior southpaw Mike Eades fanned 17 Drifters en route to a 7-2 Charger win in the Tidewater District opener for both teams.
