3-Peat: Chargers capture 3rd straight district title
imageMiddlesex High won its third straight Tidewater District regular season championship Tuesday night at MHS in Saluda with a 60-46 win over West Point. The win put the Chargers (7-1, 10-8) of Coach Brody Jackson in a position to be the number #2 seed in the Region A Division 1 Tournament, which begins on Wednesday, February 22.

MHS girls finish second in district
imageThe Middlesex High girls varsity basketball team defeated Tidewater District foe West Point 57-46 in a hard-fought battle on February 6 in its final regular season game. The Lady Chargers lost to district champion Mathews 47-40 on February 2 and finished 6-2 in the district and 7-11 overall.


Spring sports tryouts are scheduled at MHS
All student-athletes who want to try out for any of these teams must have a current physical on file at MHS. The tryouts schedule for spring sports at Middlesex High School is as follows…


Little League signup set
Middlesex County Little League registration for baseball, softball and T-ball for boys and girls ages 5-16 will be held on two Saturdays, February 18 and 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Middlesex County Sports Complex field house. Fees are $40 for one child, $10 for a second child, and $5 for each additional child per household.
