Chargers improve district mark to 5-0
Harley Moore drove in the winning runs with a two-out bloop single in the top of the ninth inning to lead Middlesex to a 12-10 varsity baseball win over King William on Tuesday.
The victory gave the Chargers a 5-0 Tidewater District record and overall mark of 7-4.

Homer nominated to All-America Bowl
imageOn Wednesday of last week, Captain Jennifer Jones and Sergeant Alfredo Tavares of the U.S. Army Gloucester Recruiting Station visited Christchurch School to officially announce the nomination of Win Homer to the 2012 U.S. Army All-America Bowl Team.


Ware wins five straight lacrosse games
imageOn April 30, the team hosted the 4th annual Ware Academy Lacrosse Invitational, which consisted of six teams from throughout the Commonwealth. The Ware boys finished the spectacular day of lacrosse with 3 wins and a tie.


Moore no-hits West Point
imageSenior lefty Harley Moore pitched a 5-inning game no-hitter Tuesday as Middlesex routed West Point 13-0 in Deltaville. Moore (5-1) struck out 8 and walked 2. At the plate, he had 2 singles and an RBI. The Chargers (4-0, 6-3) had only 6 hits in the game but took advantage of 6 hit batters and 8 walks.
