Youth basketball champions crowned
The Middlesex Youth Basketball League completed its 34th season last Saturday with its annual tournament championship games at Middlesex High School. Click through to see the teams photos.

Keeling to play football at CNU
imageA second team Tidewater District offensive guard, and defensive end/linebacker for the Chargers, Keeling will most likely be playing the position of tight end or H-back at CNU. “I like the CNU football program, the small class sizes, and the nice campus,” said Keeling.


Youth soccer season opens Saturday; vendors sought
The Middlesex Family YMCA is proud to announce the 6th annual YMCA Healthy Kids Day set for April 17 at the Middlesex Family YMCA. The event is completely free. In addition to having all youth soccer games at the Middlesex Family YMCA, the YMCA will host numerous vendors as they promote healthy living in our community.


Weller to coach all-stars
Joining Weller on the Tidewater team will be Michael Bess and Tayvon Morning from Middlesex, Kevin Dixon, Neil Brooks, Shished Williamson and Terrance Dixon from Mathews, William Cole and Malcolm Doyal from West Point, and Tony White, Louis Hosser and Luke Forbes of King and Queen.
