MYBL girls win all-star tourney
imageLast Saturday the Middlesex Youth Basketball League (MYBL) hosted a Girls 14 & Under Invitational Tournament. Middlesex downed Mathews twice to capture the crown. Mathews was runner-up and Lancaster also participated. The Middlesex girls won first place trophies and the Mathews girls earned runner-up ribbons.

CCS lax wins 20th annual Dan Nolan Tournament
imageChristchurch was able to subdue Saint Alban's School of Washington, DC by a score of 7-5, in the championship game of the 20th annual Dan Nolan Memorial Lacrosse Tournament.


Christchurch alums make headlines in sports world
imageMicah Keller ’08 has been named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list and John Williams ’06 has joined the Harlem Globetrotter roster. Another former CCS basketball player, Teddy Okereafor ’11 plays for the VCU Rams.


Chargers rip LHS
Chris Chewning led the MHS offense with a triple, double, single and 3 runs; John Purcell had a solo home run and single; Zach Belcher, 2 singles; and Jeremy Collier and Bristow, a single apiece. MHS coach Timmy Blake has somewhat of a rebuilding year ahead of him.
