Middlesex JV volleyball off to good start
imageThe Middlesex High JV volleyball team’s 3-0 start has coach Laura Norris optimistic about the new season. “I was thrilled to have the opportunity to accept the JV Volleyball coaching position,” she said. “This season, I hope these girls learn how to compete well, do their best, improve on their volleyball skills, and strive to win… but most of all, have fun.”

YMCA training program for Richmond road race
The training program will begin Saturday, September 18, and continue each Saturday for the following eight weeks until the November 13 race day. All fitness levels—walkers, joggers and runners—are welcome to participate.


The future is now for MHS girls
imageCoach Jennifer Harrow is very excited about this year’s Middlesex High School varsity volleyball team—and for good reason. Six of the Lady Chargers have worked with Harrow since they were in the 8th grade. Four of them, who are now seniors, were among the JV squad that had 18 girls.


JV Chargers have 14 returning players
imageThe Middlesex High School junior varsity football team will kick off its first game of the season Wednesday, September 1, at home against Tidewater District foe Mathews at 6:30 p.m. The JV Chargers have 14 returning players from last year’s team that posted a 2-7 overall record and 2-2 district mark.
