Willis captures two events for MHS girls
The Middlesex High School girls track team finished second in a tri-meet on April 4 at West Point High School. King William won the meet with 72 points; Middlesex was second with 42 points; and West Point was third with 30 points.

Signup under way for Y Golf Classic
The Middlesex Family YMCA will host the 7th annual Y Golf Classic on Friday, May 11, at 10 a.m. The public is encouraged to participate. The event is held annually at the scenic Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield and is loaded with prize awards, to include top teams in each flight, closest to the pin, longest drive and hole-in-one.


Bristow leads MHS past West Point, 4-1
imageSenior Shane Bristow sparkled at the plate and on the mound to lead the Middlesex High varsity baseball team to a 4-1 win over West Point at Deltaville Ballpark on April 5. With the Chargers clinging to a 1-0 lead, Bristow slugged a 3-run home run over the left field fence in the bottom of the 6th inning.


Seahorses continue to dominate Prep League
The Christchurch School baseball team continued its strong season by sweeping two league games from St. Anne’s Belfield School last week. The Seahorses are now 9-1 on the season and 4-0 in the Virginia Prep League.
