Lancaster downs Chargers 69-52
Middlesex High showed improvement but it wasn’t enough to overcome a powerful Lancaster team in a boys varsity basketball game on December 9 on the Red Devils’ home court.

Defense dominant as MHS girls roll
imageCoach Michael Lewis Sr. said he was happy with how his team executed its press. “We were a little lackadaisical in the first half,” he said, “but by the third quarter our press picked up its intensity and we were able to get a substantial lead. That turned the game around.”


Slow start dooms Chargers in loss Friday
imageMiddlesex scored the game’s first basket off the opening tip and then went ice cold in a season-opening 58-40 boys varsity basketball loss to Northumberland last Friday at MHS.

image“Our defense stepped up and made big plays to start the third period,” said Middlesex coach Jason Daniel. “We forced four turnovers in a row and scored off all four. It was a great team win and it was great that so many fans came out and supported us.”
