MHS bats silent; Raiders win
imageTrailing 6-0 going into the bottom of the third inning, the Chargers (2-1) got on the scoreboard when Morgan Thomas and Kevin Walsh walked, John Walsh had a bunt single, and Thomas scored when Alex Crittenden grounded into a double play.

MHS booters down Devils
The Middlesex High varsity soccer team is 3-1-1 after defeating Lancaster 4-2 and losing 3-0 to Washington & Lee. On Wednesday, April 6, they are at Rappahannock, and they play at Northumberland on Friday, April 8. Their next home game is Monday, April 11, against Tidewater District foe King William at MHS.


YMCA youth soccer report
imageKudos to players and parents in the Little Kicker’s division for braving the elements during this past weekend’s game day! Quite “awesomely,” the chilly temperature was no match for the excitement and zeal plastered across the faces of the aspiring soccer players in attendance.


Youth wrestlers win medals
imageThe Middlesex Youth Wrestling Club (MYWC) had 10 wrestlers compete at Gloucester High School on March 11-12 at the Peninsula Youth Wrestling League Championships. Travis Espiritu captured 1st place in his bracket on March 11.
