Seahorses improve to 17-4
imageThe Christchurch School baseball team played two games against St. Christopher’s last week. The Seahorses trailed the Saints by one game in the league standings entering the week. CCS won both games against St. Chris and added a victory against Steward School to improve to 17-4 on the season.

Youth football signups set
imageRegistration for the Middle-sex Colts youth football program will be held May 12 and 19, and June 2 and 9. Registration will take place at the Middlesex Sports Complex behind St. Clare Walker Middle School in Locust Hill. Registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Registration begins for Deltaville 5K and Kids Run
We have many new things this year—adding to every participant's experience. The race will feature automated race chip timing, USTAF course certification, multiple starting waves, medals for all, and awards for top winners in each age category.


Help an area at-risk gifted student by playing in Jacob’s Ladder Golf Classic
The opportunity to help an at-risk gifted student from the Middle Peninsula or Northern Neck comes by way of the 19th annual Jacob's Ladder Golf Classic on Friday, May 11, at the Golden Eagle Golf Course at the Tides Inn in Irvington. Jacob's Ladder, begun in 1991, is an enrichment program for middle school youngsters (grades 5-8).
