Help an area at-risk gifted student by playing in Jacob’s Ladder Golf Classic
The opportunity to help an at-risk gifted student from the Middle Peninsula or Northern Neck comes by way of the 19th annual Jacob's Ladder Golf Classic on Friday, May 11, at the Golden Eagle Golf Course at the Tides Inn in Irvington. Jacob's Ladder, begun in 1991, is an enrichment program for middle school youngsters (grades 5-8).

MHS booters ready for Tidewater District play
imageThe Middlesex soccer team was firing on all cylinders Monday night, playing an extremely talented Essex team in a 4-3 Charger loss. The Chargers controlled the first half with strong midfield play from Justin Smith and Darrien Fisher. Offensively, the team was led by leading goal scorer Jonathan Shearin, who had 3 goals, and Zebulon Burrell.

Chewning, Ceballos lead MHS past K&Q
Vale Ceballos pitched a complete game and struck out 13, and Chris Chewning ripped three doubles to lead Middlesex to a 7-1 Tidewater District win over King and Queen on Tuesday at Deltaville Ballpark.
