Moore leads MHS girls; Walsh brothers pace boys
The Middlesex High School girls cross-country team won a tri-meet Wednesday, September 15, against King William and Essex. The Lady Chargers won the meet with 20 points, King William had 44 and Essex 56 (low score wins in cross-country).

Christchurch School Seahorses up record to 3-0
imageThe Maret School in Washington, D.C., sits among a host of embassies. Needless to say, space is at a premium. So Thursday’s game between the Fighting Seahorses and the Fighting Frogs was played at nearby Duke Ellington Field, with Georgetown University runners working out on its rubberized track and invading the slightly squeezed end zone.


St. Clare Walker opens first soccer season Sept. 21
This year will be remembered as the inaugural year for the St. Clare Walker Middle School Seahawks varsity soccer program. On opening night of school, 68 youth expressed interest in the program and after a tough 3-day tryout the team was taken down to a full squad of 20 players.


MHS girls improve to 5-0
imageThe Middlesex varsity volleyball remains undefeated after defeating W&L, Lancaster and Rappahannock in recent non-district matches. The Lady Chargers beat each opponent in three straight games.
