Taylor, Myers to play baseball at Marshall
imageAt the age of 13, Travis Myers of Urbanna and Michael Taylor of St. Albans, W.Va., began a friendship bonded by baseball. The two Christchurch School seniors began playing “Travel Team” baseball together and five years later both have signed National Letters of Intent to play at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.

imageThe Lady Chargers will lose Blake, Payne, Dixon, Stinchcomb and Heather Blankenship to graduation. “Once again, with sadness, I must say goodbye to my seniors,” Harrow said. “I thank them for their years of hard work and wish them good luck in all future endeavors.


MHS hoop teams open Dec. 2
The Middlesex High School winter sports regular season gets under way in December. The girls and boys basketball seasons open Friday, December 2, against Northumberland. The girls will play away and boys at home. JV games are at 6 p.m. and varsity games at 7:30 p.m.


Seahorses host Potomac in state football championship Saturday
imageOn Saturday, November 19, Christchurch School will host the VISAA Division II State Championship Football Game. CCS (9-0) will play Potomac School (8-2) at 1 p.m. It will be the Seahorses’ first appearance ever in a state championship game.
