MYBL make-up games begin tonight
The Middlesex Youth Basketball League (MYBL) will make up its games from January 28 at St. Clare Walker Middle School at Locust Hill. The games are as follows:

Chargers cruise to tourney title
imageIn one of its best performances of the season, the Middlesex High School boys basketball dismantled West Point last Friday night at King William to win its second straight Tidewater District Tournament championship.


Lady Chargers win first title since 2008
imageThe Middlesex High Lady Chargers basketball team downed Mathews 34-27 Friday night to claim their first Tidewater District Tournament championship since 2008. In doing so, the Lady Chargers handed regular season champion Mathews its only district loss this season.


Fisher wins a match at state wrestling tournament
Middlesex High School had two wrestlers advance to the third round of the State Group A wrestling tournament held last Saturday at Salem Civic Center in Salem. “It was a very tough state tournament with the addition of Grundy High School, last year’s State Group A runner-up,” said MHS head coach Joel Anderson.
