Chargers: 6-0 in district with two games to play
The Middlesex High Chargers improved to 6-0 in the Tidewater District with wins over King William and King and Queen in recent games. The Chargers (6-0, 11-4) also turned in a solid performance in a 63-57 road loss to Northern Neck power Lancaster on January 26. Two games remain in the MHS regular season—at Mathews this Friday, February 4, and at West Point on Tuesday, February 8.

The Middlesex High School wrestling team participated in the Mathews High School Round Robin Tournament on Saturday and came away with two wins—one against Lancaster and the other against Franklin.

On Saturday, February 26, the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 6th annual professional wrestling bonanza fundraiser at the Middlesex High School gym in Saluda. The superstars of NWA Fusion will present “Gold and Glory,” a night filled with heated action packed pro wrestling drama.
