Gray leads the way as CCS moves to 4-0
imagePat Young (Ewing, NJ) returned the opening kickoff of Saturday’s game between the Christchurch Fighting Seahorses and Virginia Episcopal School to the Bishop 26-yard line. Five plays later, Carlos Gray (Temple Hills, MD) took and inside handoff and ran fifteen yards in for the score. This was the first of many as the ‘Horses rolled to a 48-0 blowout on Dischinger Field.

MHS golfers stun Devils; qualify for golf regional
The Middlesex High School golf team, winless in the regular season, upset Mathews by one stroke to capture second place in the Tidewater District tri-meet on Queenfield Golf Course in King William on Monday.


MHS JVs down Charles City 16-6
imageThe Middlesex High junior varsity football team (1-2) won its first game of the season on September 21, 16-6 over Charles City. The Chargers will travel to Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 29.


MHS girls win district opener
The Middlesex varsity volleyball team defeated West Point on Tuesday to win its opening match in the Tidewater District. On September 20, it took Lancaster five games to defeat Middlesex. “We came out strong, full of energy, and playing like a team,” said Middlesex coach Jennifer Harrow. Middlesex took the first game 25-13. But, Lancaster won the next two.
