Surry rallies past MHS
“The first half went real well,” said MHS coach Josh Franke. “We had a scoring opportunity right at the end of the half on their one yard line and couldn’t punch it in. Then we fumbled right at the beginning of the second quarter and then penalties and mistakes killed us in the second half,” Coach Franke said.

CCS Seahorses are state sailing champs
imageThe Christchurch Sailing Team won the Virginia Interscholastic Sailing Association State Fleet-Racing Championship last Saturday in Norfolk to finish the season undefeated! The team now qualifies to compete at the Mid-Atlantic Scholastic Sailing Association Fleet-Racing Championship in Rochester, NY this weekend.


Seahawks rout NHS; fall in overtime to Aylett
imageThe St. Clare Walker Seahawks lost 4-3 in double overtime against an aggressive Aylett Country Day School team on October 1. Every minute of this game was intense on both ends of the field with great offense and defense from both teams.


Fast start propels Pointers past MHS
imageWest Point spoiled the Middlesex High School homecoming football game Friday night by jumping out to a 40-0 first half lead en route to a 54-12 win. The Pointers seized control of the game early when the Chargers fumbled the opening kickoff.
