MHS varsity girls host K&Q Friday
The Middlesex High varsity girls basketball team improved to 4-1 in Tidewater District play with a 41-34 win at King William on Tuesday. The win keeps the Lady Chargers tied with Mathews for first place in the district with three games remaining.

Chargers rout King William; Lockley to be honored
The Middlesex High boys varsity basketball team improved to 3-2 in the Tidewater District Tuesday night with a 66-51 victory over King William at MHS in Saluda. Before the start of the Mathews game on Tuesday, Ryheem Lockley will be honored for recently passing the 1,500-point career scoring mark, and being the top career scorer in MHS basketball history.


Two CCS football stars sign with Norfolk State
imageChristchurch School senior football players Jordan Wallace and Brendan Cole, both from Hampton, verbally committed to Norfolk State University on Wednesday, January 16. Their recruiter was coach Paul Macklin.


Chargers will host Cavaliers Tuesday
The Middlesex Chargers lost two boys varsity basketball Tidewater District road games in recent action and now stand at 2-2 in the district and 4-8 overall. The Chargers stayed with a good Mathews team until the second half when foul trouble led to a 75-60 Blue Devils victory.
