JVs host Devils Monday
imageThe Middlesex High School junior varsity football team lost two games in recent action, 40-0 on October 20 to King William, and 14-0 to King and Queen on October 24. “We had a lot of penalties but I was proud of the way our kids played,” said MHS coach Stanley Hundley. “In both games, they never gave up.”

Chargers host K&Q in Oyster Bowl Friday
The Middlesex High School Chargers football team lost 62-0 to powerful King William last Friday night at King William. The reigning Urbanna Oyster Fesitval Queen and Little Miss Spat will present the winning team with the Oyster Bowl trophy after the game.


Christchurch School Seahorses at 7-0
imageFall Family Weekend at Christchurch School is always fun, and this year was no different. The sun was shining and the air crisp—a perfect day for football. The Seahorses came to play and every player got in the game. The day was a great success all around as the Seahorses cruised to a 47-12 victory.


MHS girls visit Mathews in regular season finale
imageThe Middlesex High varsity volleyball team swept King William in three games 25-16, 25-20 and 25-18 for a Tidewater District road victory on October 20. The Lady Chargers play their regular season finale at Mathews on Thursday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m.
