MHS JVs defeat Raiders
The Middlesex High School JV boys basketball team defeated Rappahannock 49-27, and lost 44-36 to Lancaster in games before the holiday break. The Chargers will travel to King William, Friday, January 4, in their Tidewater District opener, and will host King and Queen on Tuesday, January 8.

Lockley leads MHS past Raiders
imageThe Middlesex High boys varsity basketball team begins Tidewater District play this week with a game at King William on Friday, January 4, and a home game against King and Queen on Tuesday, January 8.


MYBL scrimmages are Saturday at MHS
The Middlesex Youth Basketball League (MYBL) will hold dress scrimmages in its Senior Boys, Junior Boys, and Girls divisions this Saturday, January 5, at Middlesex High School in Saluda. There are four teams in each of these three divisions.


‘Team effort’ carries MHS to first victory
“This was a full team effort,” said first-year MHS coach Chris Walker. “This is the first game we have played to our potential. As a team we moved the ball around and were patient on offense to get the best look at the basket.
