Aylett to offer archery
Aylett Country Day School (ACDS) is working to implement the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) into their curriculum this fall. This program will be available to ACDS students in grades 4-8.

Chargers lose in region semifinals
The Middlesex High boys basketball team stunned Colonial Beach 60-54 in the quarterfinals of the Region A Tournament on February 20, but lost 84-47 to a good Surry team in the semifinals on February 22 at Surry.


‘Fight Like A Girl’ free seminar set for March 6
imageThe Middlesex Parks & Recreation Department and Master Jerry Lemon, owner of Jerry’s Martial Arts Academy in Gloucester, are on a mission to help women and girls of the community learn to “Fight Like A Girl.”


Surry edges MHS girls
The Middlesex High Lady Chargers basketball season ended February 20 with a 34-33 loss to Surry in the quarterfinals of the Region A Tournament at MHS. The Lady Chargers took control of game early but Surry refused to quit and fought their way back in the second half.
