Colts capture three homecoming wins
imageA successful football program has a way of bringing small communities together. This togetherness was never more evident last Saturday at the Middlesex Sports Complex in Locust Hill as the Middlesex Colts, with a large homecoming crowd watching in the rain, won three games against the Gloucester White Knights.

Harrow and Ellis win again
The Middlesex High girls cross-country team won a quad-meet between Essex, Lancaster and St. Margaret’s on October 1 behind the running of Leigh Harrow, who continues to dominate Region A competition.


At 4-1, Chargers off to best start since state championship season
With a 41-0 win over Northampton last Friday, the Middlesex High School football team is now 4-1 on the season—its best start since the 1993 state championship team of Coach Bill Garbett. In that magical year of 1993, Middlesex won its first six games and went on to claim the Division I Group A State Title—the only state football championship in school history.


MHS JVS down King William
The Middlesex High JV volleyball team lost at West Point in its Tidewater District opener on October 1, but rebounded to defeat district foe King William on Tuesday. “The girls played a great game and communicated well during the match,” said JV Lady Charger coach Jessica Morris.
