The 2011 Historic Urbanna Holiday House Tour was “a success,” according to organizer Kerry Robusto.  250 tickets were sold for the December 3rd event, allowing admission to seven sites in the Urbanna area.

Structures on the tour included Breezy Pointe, home of John and Cathy Newcomb; Rest and Be Thankful, home of George and Helen DeVries; Kinnaree, home of Emily Davies; Hall Cottage, home of Lewis and Cerise Hall and family; and historic Lansdowne, home of Diane and A.B. Gravatt.

In addition, An Old Fashioned Christmas was on display in the Middlesex County Woman’s Club building, and The Old Tobacco Warehouse/Town of Urbanna Visitor’s Center was open to guests.

The annual event is sponsored by the Urbanna Beautification Committee, the Urbanna Business Association and the Town of Urbanna.  Call (804) 761-4840 for information on next year’s tour.
