Workmen have recently completed painting the first large section of superstructure on the Robert O. Norris Jr. Bridge over the Rappahannock River, and the light blue color is quite a contrast with the old rust-stained sections. Work on the multi-year $22.3 million painting project is ahead of schedule, according to VDOT inspector John Gaby.
