Seven entries participated in the Urbanna Boat Parade on July 5. Awards were presented as follows: Most Patriotic was “Sea Quell,” captained by Robert Nordstrom; Most Creative was “Bethpager” of Bethpage Camp-Resort; and Most Outrageous was “Eagle Pride” of A.B. Gravatt. Alvin Daniel in “Little Chief” received honorable mention.

The 2013 Deltaville Community Association Heritage Day last Saturday was another hot one—starting out with almost 500 runners in downtown Deltaville that morning, continuing with the annual parade that afternoon, and ending at the ballpark that night.
