Wish-A-Fish program
Early this past Saturday morning at Holly Point Nature Park in Deltaville the sound of children giggling over the roar of diesel engines could be heard. If one looked closely through the mist, he could also see the “Tortuga” pulling away from the dock for the third annual Wish-A-Fish expedition.

Urbanna Boat Parade 2012
The Bethpager won the “Patriotism Award” at the annual Urbanna Boat Parade last Friday, and Morgan Friday and his crew won the “Most Creative Award” for “Washington Crossing Urbanna Creek.”

Urbanna 4th of July Fireworks 2012
The fireworks show over Urbanna Creek last Friday lasted about 20 minutes. It capped hours of preparation by Bixler Pyrotechnics of Ashland, Pa.

Deltaville 5K & Heritage Day 2012
The Deltaville 5K & Kids Fun Run 2012 was held on Saturday, June 30, with a total of 455 participants—408 in the 5K, and 47 in the Kids Fun Run.

MHS Graduation 2012
About 90 members of the Middlesex High School Class of 2012 graduated on Saturday, June 16, in the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium in Saluda. Welcoming remarks were made by senior class president Georgiana Iesha Lee.
