Youth Basketball in Middlesex
Youth basketball is alive in Middlesex County! The 2009 season was comprised of four divisions, sixteen teams and over one hundred and sixty players. Games are played at Middlesex High and Middlesex Elementary every Saturday during the season.
Tour the New Northumberland School Complex
Tour the new Northumberland school complex with Clint Stables, Superintendent of Northumberland County Schools. It is a massive structure which will replace the current middle and high school. Reid Pierce Armstrong photographed the new school complex.

Three Winters Cold
The coldest air in three winters blew into the area on Thursday, January 15. These photos, shot by Sentinel reporter Tom Chillemi, show just how artistic nature can be. The arctic blast created intricate patterns when creeks and coves froze over.
