2011 MHS Graduation
Michael Rutkowski, the featured speaker at Saturday’s 62nd graduation ceremony at Middlesex High School, summed up his address by saying, “This is just the beginning. Your education here is only the foundation from which you will grow.”
1st grade goes to the Museum
On June 10, Middlesex Elementary School first grade students came to Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park for a field trip. Students learned about the boatbuilding heritage of the county, plants, wildlife, crabs, oysters and the buyboat “F.D. Crockett.”
Urbanna Firehouse Addition Groundbreaking
The Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department (MVFD) held a groundbreaking ceremony Sunday, June 12 for the new addition to the current firehouse in Urbanna.
